Discover our unique offer to explore the heroic vineyards of Sion on our electric bikes. Take a leisurely stroll along the Clavau hillside, stopping to enjoy a picnic or authentic meal in one of our picturesque gatehouses. An unforgettable vineyard experience awaits you!

Course

Ride our Khalkoff electric bikes to discover our estates in a fun or sporty way. An activity you can enjoy on your own, with colleagues or friends.

Two options to choose from:

  • Picnic: with local Valais produce prepared in a pretty basket attached to your bike. You can also enjoy picnic spots along the route. A 37.5 cl bottle of wine accompanies your picnic.
  • A hot meal in one of our bungalows, with a choice of menus. The choice of bungalow is yours, subject to availability. We will offer you 1 dl of wine included in the meal. A 75-cl bottle of wine will be offered to you on your return to Les Celliers de Sion.

Route details

On our application, you can choose between three routes classified according to their degree of difficulty.

Blue-red or black course (distances from 17 to 22km).
The duration of your activity will depend on how much you want to do it and how much time you have. This activity usually lasts between 4 and 5.5 hours.

Frequently asked questions

Are children welcome?

This offer is not intended for children.

Children under 16 are not allowed to use our electric bicycles (except on presentation of a category M license).

In addition, we cannot attach anything to the rear of our bikes (trailers, baby seats, etc.).

What happens in bad weather?

You have the option of rescheduling or cancelling the activity depending on weather conditions, at the latest the day before the activity.

In the event of bad weather, we reserve the right to close our booths and cancel our outdoor activities. You will, of course, be personally informed should this happen.

What to pack in your backpack

Our vineyards are very sunny, so don’t forget to bring a cap or hat and sun cream.

We offer you a bottle of water before you set off on your bike tour.

Are there toilets on the course?

Only at the following locations: Celliers de Sion, Cube Varone and guérite Brûlefer.

Should we bring our own helmets?

Helmets are provided with your bike. So you don’t have to take your own.

Is the course accessible to beginners?

Yes, the bikes have an assistance system that allows beginners to pedal effortlessly. But you need to know how to ride a bike.

How much time will I spend on my bike?

To give you an idea, the black route (the longest) takes 2 hours to complete, not counting stops.

Is it possible to rent bikes without taking a picnic or lunch?

No, picnics or meals in one of our bungalows are compulsory.

What are the road conditions like?

Most of the journey takes place on roads, where traffic regulations apply.

Please note that cars will be driving on the same road as you.
